Disorders of Hemostasis: Result from an imbalance in hemostatic forces. ○ Excessive Bleeding: Due to vessel wall defects, platelet disorders, and coagulation disorders. ○ Excessive Clotting: Occurs in hypercoagulation states, leading to arterial and venous thrombosis. 2.
