This means that being socially aware relates to being aware of your environment, what's around you, as well as being able to accurately interpret the emotions of people with whom you interact. Defining Globalization In general, globalization is the sharing of culture, and money, and products, between countries that is happening because of international trade, and advancement in transportation and communication. Globalization is also a social process where people become more and more aware of other cultures and people, across geographical political and social borders. The economic interdependence of different countries, as well as the advancements in communication technology, and the progress of technology in general, have all contributed to globalization. Defining Globalization The word used to describe the growing interdependence and integration of the world’s economies, populations, cultures and traditions, ideas and information, organizations/businesses, religions, languages –brought about by cross-border trade in of goods and services, technology, flows of investment, people, and information.
