Business establishments, government agencies, private organizations, even small social groups of friends and neighbors employ people, resources, and equipment to conduct the various activities that need to be coordinated to ensure smooth and successful flow of activities. Learning the important concepts in management facilitates understanding of what it takes to make a business or any activity successful. This module is written for Organization and Management, a specialized course in the Accountancy, Business Management (ABM) track of the Senior High School K to 12 Curriculum. It aims to familiarize the students with basic concepts, principles, and processes related to business organization, and the functional areas of management. This module is divided into five modules, consisting of 14 lessons that give a comprehensive summary on the discussion of the principles, functions and concepts in management. The discussion of lessons are designed to be student-friendly and easy to read and understand.
