ETOS® hardware connections What we cover in this micro session: connection of BAE modules connection of SICAM modules digital input connections explained Currently our ETOS is provided in two different hardware generations. The BAE and the SICAM. Therefore I want to show you how to correctly connect all the different analog input and output modules from the two generations. I want to begin with the first generation - BAE modules. connection of BAE modules BAE voltage source (from source to analogue input card) Embed:// BAE voltage display (from card to analogue display device) Embed:// BAE current source (from source to analogue input card) Embed:// BAE current display (from card to analogue display device) Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 2 wire connection Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 3 wire connection Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 4 wire connection Embed:// connection of SICAM modules SICAM voltage source (from source to analogue input card) Embed:// SICAM voltage display (from card to analogue display device) Embed:// SICAM current source (from source to analogue input card) Embed:// SICAM current display (from card to analogue display device) Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 2 wire connection Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 3 wire connection Embed:// PT - 100 / 1000 4 wire connection Embed:// DIO card Last but not least I want to take care of a very much discussed topic. The labeling of the digital inputs of ETOS. This is valid for both generations the same way. I want to point out the difference in the HIGH ACTIVE characteristic and the LOW ACTIVE characteristic. High active input characteristic (NO behavior) Embed:// Low active input characteristic (NC behavior) Embed://
