The following are the details. Firstly, we appreciate your efforts and your artwork on the map is very good. Based on your artwork on our questionnaire results from people who tested Escape to Hong Kong Island, most of the parents and young teenagers love it, which is successful. Suggestions Report 5** 例子 2018 DSE English Paper 3 Q8 22/22 Report on Funding Options for Escape to Hong Kong Island Introduction This reports investigates the pros and cons of the two funding options for our new game Escape to Hong Kong Island, namely Gamezstart and the Acorn Grant Findings Gamestart For the advantages, first and foremost, we can advertise our game on its website, which is the most well known funding website for board games companies. As it is both online and global, we can attract investors anywhere in the world to invest in our game. More importantly, this option is ultimately flexible as we can set the target amount of money we need to raise for our game. All these allow us to receive funding to continue developing our game. As for the disadvantages, firstly, by the time we have finished developing the game, we should send one copy of the game to each investor. As our game may be heavy, international shipping may also be expensive, eventually consuming most of the money raised. Prohibitive shipping costs aside, our funding project may also be ignored by investors if big well-known companies launch projects at Gamezstart at the same time. This may culminate in the scenario that we may have to abandon the project given that we cannot meet our target. Acorn Grant With regard to the upsides, the grant offers a one-time award of HK$25000 with no strings attached, without any other conditions required. Moreover, Melaka Bank, the organizer of the grant, will provide sound financial advice and advertising wizardry. In addition, the bank will also assist us for one year after winning the award. 7/12 In view of its downsides, our company may lose autonomy to the bank as it has been said the bank may control everything of the company it sponsors. All those disadvantages may limit our development. Conclusion It is hoped that the best funding option can be found given the above analysis of the advantages and disadvantages.
