The spa can be installed indoor or outdoor. For household use only. 2. The spa must be setup on a level, flat, non-slip, water resistant and smooth surface, no sharp objects, strong enough to support the full weight of the filled spa. 3. Do not setup the spa on grass or dirt, as this increases the amount of debris entering the spa and can damage the spa floor. 4. Do not expose the spa to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. 5. Provide a properly located power outlet to connect the spa and allow easy access for periodic testing of the cord mounted GFCI. 6. If installed and left outside, make sure the temperature is not lower than 39°F (4°C). The water provided inside of the spa must be higher than 39°F (4°C), so the water inside of the circulation system will not frozen. Electrical Information This product comes with a GFCI located at the end of power cord. The GFCI must be tested before each use. Do not use the spa if the GFCI does not function properly. Spa Cartridges(Part#:11692/29001E)- No warranty. Only 90 days service program if missing Troubleshooting E90---No/Low water flow Confirm the consumer has both filter cartridges installed on the outlet connections. Some consumers will accidentally connect a cartridge to the inlet / return. This will create a back flow in the filter pump and result in an E90. Fixing the cartridge placement should resolve the issue. If not continue troubleshooting. Remove both filter cartridges and attempt to run FP without them. Filter Cartridges should be replaced with NEW cartridges every 1 - 2 weeks. Some consumers will use them longer and they will swell up. This will result in an E90. If removing the cartridges corrects the issue the consumer needs to get new cartridges. If not continue troubleshooting. Turn off and disconnect the spa base from the tub. Then remove the suction fittings (grids) from the inside of the tub. Make sure they are clean and free of any obstructions. Try running the FP function again. If E90 appears then continue to troubleshooting. Drain the Spa Tub. Use a garden hose to flush out the hose lines inside of the spa tub. This will clear any blockages that might be in the hose lines. If the water does not flow freely through the hose lines the tub needs to be replaced. The E90 is resulted from the obstruction trapped in the hose line that prevented the water from moving freely. If the water moves freely through the hose lines. Refill the spa tub and connect the base. Try the FP function again. If E90 appears continue troubleshooting. Reset the spa base. Prior to turning on the FP function. Hold a hand in front of the inlet / return opening on the spa. Turn on the FP function. If no water is felt coming out of the inlet / return opening and within a few seconds E90 appears replace the FP motor. If water is felt coming out of the inlet / return opening but within a few seconds E90 appears the base needs to be replaced. This means the issue is with the flow sensor inside of the spa base (this part is not replaceable separately). Note: 1. Immerge and shake the cartridge filter housing (with cartridge installed) under water several times. Make sure there is no air inside every time you adjust it. 2. Filtration can still be activated under any error code except “E90”. Day 9 7 / 21 E94---Water Temperature too low Make sure the temperature around the spa is above 39°F(4°C). Press the temperature increase button to set the desired water temperature. Turn off and unplug the control unit, add some warm water to raise the spa water temperature above 41°F(5°C), then press the heater button to heat up the water to the desired temperature. Stop running bubble function and use spa cover when heating water. If the LED still shows code E94, the control base needs to be replaced. E95--- Water Temperature too high Press the filter and bubble button to lower the water temperature. Turn the system off and unplug it, when the water has cooled down, plug the GFCI and restart it. If the LED still shows code E95, the control base needs to be replaced. E96---System Error Turn the system off and unplug it, reassemble the control unit, then plug the GFCI and restart it. If the LED still shows code E96, the control base needs to be replaced. END---If the water temperature does not reach the desired temperature, after 72 hours of operation, the pump will hibernate and the rapid heating and water filtration functions are disabled. Ensure ambient temperature is not colder than 39 ℉ Ensure the ground cloth is under the tub and spa cover is on during heating process. If the panel keeps showing END, control base needs to be replaced. E99---Water temperature sensor broken The same as error code E96. E81---Transmission Signal Failure Reset the GFCI, restart and try again (Panel will display this error if the base is off) Place the panel within 16ft of the control base Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn off and charge the panel (energy saving mode) If problem persists, replace the panel E97---Dry-Fire Protection The same as error code E96. The tub is slowly deflating Use wrench in the package to tighten air valve, make sure it is tightly secured. Use soapy water to spray on the outside of the tub, see if there’s bubble coming out, if there is, repair it with the patch kit. Turn off the Bubble function if it is on. Check if there are bubbles inside of the Spa. If there is, repair it with waterproof patch kit. Replace the spa tub if the leaking area is unrepairable. Day 9 8 / 21 No display / Spa control unit doesn’t work Ensure the spa is plugged and switched on. Ensure the control panel cable plug is firmly attached to the control base receptacle. (Wireless): Ensure the panel is within range (16ft) (Wireless): Ensure the panel is charged Check the GFCI and push the RESET button. Check the electric outlet to make sure it has power. If the panel is still blank, does not power on, and the GFCI is not lit up replace the control base. If the panel powers on (GFCI is lit up) but remains blank replace the panel because the LED display has malfunctioned GFCI keep tripping Ensure correct circuit breaker rating and circuit breaker is not overloaded (Check no other appliances or other large loads on the same circuit as the spa). Connect the spa with another electric outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to correct the electrical fault. Water is heated slowly Normally, it heats up the water 2-3°F/h(1-1.5°C/h) or 1-2°F/h(0.5-1°C/h) it depends on the size of the spa tub. Make sure the ambient temperature is not lower than 50 ºF (10ºC). Make sure the spa is properly covered with the spa cover. If consumer uses it outdoors, make sure the wind speed is below 8-12 mph (3.5-5.4m/s). The air bubble function is turned off when heating the spa water. Not heating properly Increase the temperature and attach the spa cover. Ensure ambient temperature is not lower than 39 F Clean or replace the filter cartridge in time. If heater is in STANDBY mode, press the flame button twice to heat up the water to the set temperature. Water not clean Ensure the cartridge assemble is properly attached and clean the inlet and outlet regularly. Increase filtration time. Clean or replace the filter cartridge in time. Keep the spa water properly sanitized. Contact local pool supply. Leaking between spa tub and base Tighten inlet and outlet connections. Coat the O-ring with petroleum jelly to help with water proofing. Remove grid from inside spa with a screwdriver, ensure inlet/outlet o-ring is in place, clean and not damaged. Replace the O-ring if necessary. Day 9 9 / 21 Spa is making a loud /humming or grinding noise Ensure control panel, back cover and all inlet/outlets are securely connected. Ensure ground is leveled, firm and smooth. Turn off the spa and let it cool down. Replace the control base. Bubble Function Does Not Work Remove control base from the tub and turn on the bubble function. - If base blows air, the tub must be replaced. - If base does not blow air, replace the control base. Panel shows “888” / unknown code / all lights on it Turn off the spa and let it cool down, reconnect the panel and control base. If “888” persists, replace control base. The tub or bladder is bulging / has a strange shape Do not expose the product under direct sunshine. Check the air pressure and release air if necessary.
