Categorization: --------------- We need to choose clear cut categories for all of the blog posts. I have been categorizing them with tags to give general direction but there is no way for these to be filtered by internal users. Category Ideas would (at minimum) include: All, Features, Students, Professionals and Catalog. Additional categories could include "Time savers", "Test Prep" and/or "Personal Assistant". I noticed the high quality competitor blogs include a "customer stories" tab. If we could have users submit stories from their test prep or dire use cases, this could be a great source of credibility. Separating articles by their tags would open up the catalog to becoming an integrated part of the website. We want a seamless experience for users coming both inward from Google search traffic and for internal users seeking more information and cataloged examples. Ideally, clicking on any of these sections would open up a page that populates with the book covers with the title, author and "summary and notes" overlapping or beneath the cover. Additionally, at the bottom of the page, we can have a submission box for users and non-users to submit books and texts that they would like to see summarized. Here's a rough idea of how I think it should look: ![](media/image6.jpg) Blog Cards: ----------- Currently, our blog post cards have the SEO title, and a blurb that typically includes a repeat of the title, author and date, "Try for free" and then the beginning of the first header. This doesn't convey much information and looks jumbled since there are no line breaks. Adding an image or graphic would make these more attractive, however, these should at least include their categorical tag, a brief title, EITHER the meta description or article hook and the author/date.
