Summary

This article explores the mechanisms of manual therapy (MT) interventions for musculoskeletal pain. It argues for a more personalized approach to treatment and suggests the need for further studies to identify the key mechanisms through which MT works. The authors propose a model to guide research on MT mechanisms.
