Public are hereby noticed to observe that height specified above for the purpose of loading vehicles and to see that the loads carried in road vehicles do not infringe the height gauges under any circumstances. The dangers of a load of excessive height are as follows:- * Danger to the height gauge and consequent obstruction to the road as well as the railway line. * Danger to the materials or equipment carried out or the vehicle itself. * Danger of fire and risk of life due to contact with or dangerous proximity to the conductors. (PS)** # ACTM Correction slip no. 32 dated 09.10.2020 Modification to Proforma Para 11.2(e) of ACTM VOL-II, Part-2, Appendix-VIII is as below:- ## Existing Proforma Para 11.2(e) of ACTM VOL-II, Part-2, Appendix-VIII as per ACS No. 30 dated 22.10.19 **(e) Level crossing Gauges, Screens etc. on bridges:** The maintenance of level crossing including caution boards thereon will be done by the Engineer Department. Special care shall be taken to prevent the approach road levels going down below mark given in level crossing gauges, to prevent passage of unsafe road traffic under the OHE. The height of the top member of L.C. gauge above the road shall be between 4.76 and 4.78 metres and contact wire shall be at a height of minimum 5.5m above the rail level at level crossings. Similarly screens provided on foot-over, road-over bridges etc. shall be maintained by the Engineering staff ## Modified Proforma **(e) Level crossing Gauges, Screens etc. on bridges:** The maintenance of level crossing including caution boards thereon will be done by the Engineer Department.
