# Milten - Is a organ in the human body. - Has an average weight of _150 gram_. - Is **dark red** almost **black**. - Has a smooth surface. - Consists of **red and white pulp**. - The red pulp contains **red blood cells**. - The white pulp contains **lymph nodules**. - Is located in the **peritoneum** space. - Is located on the **left side** of the body. - Is located **above** and to the **left** in the **abdominal cavity**. - Is located below the **ribs**. - Is located behind the **stomach**. - Is located in front of the **left kidney**. - Its blood supply comes from the **splenic artery**. - Its blood drains into the **splenic vein**. # Luftveje, Lunger og Lungehinder ## Luftveje - Are divided into **upper and lower**. - The **upper airways** start at the **nostrils** and end at the **laryngeal inlet**. - The **lower airways** consist of the **larynx, trachea and bronchi**. ## Næse og næsehule - **External nose** is **pyramidal**. - **External nose** has two **lateral** and one **inferior surface**. - The **lateral surfaces** meet at the **tip of the nose**. - The **inferior surface** is where the **nostrils** are located. - The **nostrils** are **oval**. - The **external nose** is covered by **skin, subcutaneous tissue, periosteum or perichondrium and bone or cartilage**. - **Cartilage** forms the **inferior part of the external nose**. - **Bone** forms the **superior part of the external nose**. - **Nasal muscles** are **facial muscles**. - **Nasal cavity** is divided into the **vestibule of the nose and the nasal cavity proper**. - **Vestibule of the nose** is located **inside the nostrils**. - **Vestibule of the nose** is covered by **skin**. - **Nasal cavity proper** is located **inside the nose**. - **Nasal cavity proper** is lined by **mucous membrane**.
