It is a virtue desired by many people of understanding and (in fact) some people go all the way (not minding the cost) to get it. 12 Excellence - Definitions ❖It is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. It is also an outstanding feature of quality (Google). ❖Excellence is a spirit according to the Bible (Daniel 5:12, 6:3; Prov. 17:27) and God himself was described as excellent in power, judgment and justice (Job.37:23). 13 Excellence If God is excellent, then, each of His children should demonstrate this spirit and virtue. Hence, the need for this course. 14 Excellence – The Link Excellence is a character of God (Ps.8:1, 36:7), so, it is expected that excellence is connected to godliness.
