High employment rate is an evidence of economic development 2) Elimination of Poverty Entrepreneurship has the potential to lift people out of poverty by generating employment 3) Community Development An increase in employment adds to national income in the form of tax revenue and higher government spendings. This amount can be used by the government for its services to the community and country. 4) Economic Independence It reduces the nation’s dependence on imported goods and services and promotes self-reliance.
