Evidence from Fossils** * Fossils are preserved remains or traces of organisms from the past. * Glossopteris – an extinct plant in which its fossilized leaves were found in 250 million years old rocks. These were found in South Africa, Australia, India, and Antarctica. * Mesosaurus and Lystosaurus – freshwater reptiles. Their fossils were discovered in continents such as South America, Africa, and Antarctica. **c.
