Tikog is the Waray word for bariw or romblan. It is an art, which is practiced by many Warays and is also one of their occupations. Tikog requires a long and pained process from collection up to the arrangement of tiny strips to create a usual mat with crossed lines of different colors to make diagonal patterns. ![](media/image7.jpeg) The pu-so of the people in Samar and Leyte. This food stuff is also called bodbod which carry the value of weaving in the lives of the people. This weaving practice is also akin to patupat, which is treat in Pampanga region. ![](media/image6.png) **Bohol and Siquijor** Basketry is one of the oldest occupations that have been developed in Bohol especially in Antequera most of the weavers are women.
