God, who is beyond time, who dwells in eternity, creates the world and gives shape to human history.  Days, weeks, months, and seasons are made holy as we remember the wondrous actions of God and ask him to bless our days.                         2.    [[Family Prayers from Birth to Death]](https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/prayers-and-devotions/prayers/family-prayers-from-birth-to-death) - \"The Christian family is... where God\'s children learn to pray \'as the Church\' and to persevere in prayer\" (*Catechism of the Catholic Church*, no. 2685).  In addition to the prayer that frames each day, this section offers special blessings and prayers for important moments in the life of a family.  Whether in times of joy or times of grief, God is always with us.                         3.   [[Prayers for Catholic Living]](https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/prayers-and-devotions/prayers/prayers-for-catholic-living) - In Baptism, Christians begin their life in Christ.  As we go through life, celebrating the sacraments, most especially the Eucharist, we grow in our ability to live as Jesus\' disciples, following his path.  The prayers in this section help us to seek God\'s counsel and consolation in the questions, struggles, and transitions of life.                         4.    [[Prayers for the Church and the World]](https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/prayers-and-devotions/prayers/prayers-for-the-church-and-the-world) - As baptized Christians, it is our right and duty to pray for the needs of the Church and the world.  As members of Christ\'s Body, we share in the joys and struggles of others, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.  In faith and trust, the prayers in this section lay before God the hopes and concerns of a broken world awaiting redemption       (*[[Catholic Household Blessings and Prayers]](https://store.usccb.org/catholic-household-blessings-and-prayers-p/5-645.htm)).*                         H.    The Common Prayers We do:                   1.  The Holy Rosary - The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose of all devotions and it is, therefore, the most important one ([[https://bondsofmarianlove.com/catechism/)]](https://bondsofmarianlove.com/catechism/)).  The Rosary, though clearly Marian in character, is at heart a Christocentric prayer. - (Catechism of the Catholic Church \# 971) The Holy Rosary fulfills the prophecy of those words, that the blessed Virgin Mary shall be called blessed today as much as she was called blessed in the days that followed the glorious birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.   - \- N.B.: In praying the Holy Rosary, it is a need to memorize the 'Apostles' Creed', 'Our Father,' 'Hail Mary,' 'Glory Be' and 'Hail Holy Queen' and the four (4) mysteries: Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous.                              B.     Devotions promote the faith of the people. - (https://www.usccb.org/catholic-prayers)   \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\--
