Unit 4: Lesson 1 The virtues of reciting the holy Quran Learning Objectives; Explain the general meaning of the Hadith. Identify the rewards of reciting Al Quran. Success Criteria All will be able to know the rewards of reciting Quran from the hadith. Hadith Ibn Mas 'ood (R.A): reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah , he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that ''A.lif, Laam , Meem " is a letter; rather I am saying that ''A.lif " is a lette1; " laam" is a letter and "meem" is a General meaning of the noble Hadith: In this noble Hadith, our master Muhammad(S.A.W) tells us about the reward of a person who reads the Holy Qur'an. If he reads the Holy Qur'an, he will get a reward for each letter he reads. Allah willmultiplyeachrewardfor him by ten. On reading more, a Muslim gets more and more reward Lets watch the video! Imagine yourself after learning the whole Holy Qur'an by heart How will you feel? What reward do you expect? Plenary 1. He does not listen to recitation of the Holy Qur' an. 2. Reading each verse from the Holy Qur'an is calculated as ten good deeds by Allah. 3. He recites the Holy Qur'an with a beautiful voice. Learn Quran with proper pronunciation Beautiful recitation Hadith (Memorize) 'Uthman bin 'Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Allah's Messenger peace be upon him, said: "The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
