SCIENCE LABORATORY RULES SCIENCE LABORATORY RULES They are guidelines designed to help keep you safe during an experiment. Because some equipment and chemicals in the science laboratory can cause serious harm if not used properly. So, it is always wise to follow all safety rules in the laboratory Be Ready Before you enter the laboratory, you must be prepared. Review your notes and laboratory binder before your laboratory begins. Make sure you understand all the procedures and purposes, as this will help you understand the laboratory activities you will be performing. It will also help you organize your thoughts when you have to write your laboratory report FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS Always follow the instructions provided by your teacher or supervisor carefully to ensure safety and accurate results. WEAR PROPER ATTIRE It's essential to wear a lab coat, safety goggles, and closed-toe shoes to protect yourself from potential spills, splashes, and chemical hazards.
