Psych031 Understanding the Self Dr. Michelle Abella-Cellona, RPsy Clinical Psychologist Section: L1-AP5 Class Schedule: MTh (1:30PM-3:00PM) Rm. Number RTL310 Course Outline: Please see the separate attachment for more details. Face-to-face class will be every Thursday starting August 22, 2024. Asynchronous Sessions: Activities, quizzes, and exams are scheduled every Monday. Attendance: I will check the attendance 10- 15minutes after the class starts and randomly check afterwards, so please make sure you are on your seats according to our seat plan. Class Reporting: You will be assigned to a group with a topic to discuss during our face-to-face classes. Rubrics for Reporting: Criteria Indicators Score  Mastery of Exhibits adequate knowledge on the 30pts. the Topic topic assigned. Ability to draw out audience attention  Delivery of 30pts. through projection of confidence and the Topic powerful visual aids. Quizzes & Major Exams: Opening of the activities, quizzes, and exams will be every Monday within our class time. In cases when you fail to answer our Quizzes on the scheduled time, kindly send me a message on our MS Teams informing me of the reason why you failed to answer the quizzes. However, answering of questions will be between 8:00-9:00AM everyday. Activity 1: Introduction of the Self (Deadline will be on Monday, August 19, 2024) For us to get to know each other, please make a poster that talks about yourself. Please include the following details in your poster: I. Name, Section, Course & Year, Email Address, & Contact number. II. Using the first letters of your name/nickname, write the adjectives that best describe you. III. Write your expectations of the subject. Note: Don't forget to put your picture on the poster just like the sample image attached in the next slide. Save your output in a picture format (jpeg or png). Assignment tab will be open on Monday, during our class schedule.
