Explorer - a person who travels to unknown places usually in search of something valuable 3. Demand - the need for a good or product by people willing to pay for it 4. Cargo - Goods carried by a ship, airplane, truck, or other vehicle 5. Supply - the amount of good that is offered for sale 6. Slavery - the practice of holding people against their will and forcing them to work without pay 7. Compass - used to help sailors navigate on the open seas 8. Trade - exchange something for something else 9. The New World - The name sometimes used for North and South America. 10. Indies - China, India, and Japan ## Facts to know: ### What were the four reasons for early European Exploration?
