CHRISTIAN VIEW OF THE BODY AND SOUL God’s Image and likeness human person: body, soul, and the holy spi elates to others Relates to God Relates to the Environment The activity on Charade is intended to appreciate the importance of the body in WORK and in our desire to fulfill our goals in life. Aristotle taught us the importance of COURAGE to be able to ACT our potentialities to achieve our goals. His Golden Mean of balance between the two extremes is achieved ONLY BY PRACTICE, by experience. On the other hand, the question on ARE WE DEFINED BY OUR JOBS? We are able to give life to the little tasks we have. This is also one form of TRANSCENDENCE – that is to go beyond ordinary limitations. These paintings of Fr. Tanggi are intended NOT to disrespect the holiness of Jesus Christ but to simply send the message that Jesus in with US, the poor, the suffering, the ordinary people. Jesus is not one who is far from our everyday experience. He is seen, heard, touched and interacts with us. He is HERE WITH US and he feels what we feel. He experiences what we experience. Hence, we should not fear.
