1. Planning is the ability to figure out how to accomplish your goals. It includes analyzing what you need and what steps you'll need to take to undertake and complete a task. 2. Organization is the ability to keep materials, spaces, and plans neat and orderly. 3. Time Management is having an accurate understanding of how long tasks will take and using time wisely and effectively to accomplish tasks. It includes pacing yourself and meeting deadlines. 4. Task Initiation is the ability to independently start tasks when needed. It's the process that allows you to just being something even when you don't want to. 5. Working Memory is the mental processes that allow us to hold information in our minds while working with it. It is important for remember information, following directions, and completing academic problems. 6. Metacognition is thinking about your own thinking. It involves checking in with yourself to help you learn and complete tasks at your best. 7. Self-Control is the skill that helps you manage your thoughts, feelings, and actions. This ability helps you stop and think before acting to make the best choice. 8. Attention is being able to focus on a person or task for a period of time. It includes avoiding distractions and being able to shift your focus when needed. 9. Flexibility is the ability to adapt to new situations and deal with change. It also includes perspective-taking, and making decisions to fix a problem. 10. Perseverance is sticking to a task and not giving up, even when it becomes challenging.
