The king always asked for help from his council when he needed to decide something. However, many others thought some things could be urgent, and it was necessary to act immediately. In order to decide when to act, some said that they need to ask magicians, while others said that his councilors were the most necessary. Some said that the doctors were the most necessary, and others said that his soldiers were the most necessary. The king, who was not satisfied by these answers, asked a hermit known for his wisdom for advice. The hermit lived in a forest and only saw simple people. The king left his horse with his bodyguard and continued on foot to the hermit's hut. He saw the hermit digging the ground in front of his hut. The hermit was old and breathed heavily. Upon the king's arrival, the hermit greeted him, "I have come to you to ask three questions. Tell me the right thing to do. What is the most importnat?". The hermit began to speak, "Let me take you to the right place." Then he grabbed a spade. "Thanks," said the king.
