Blood circulation Systemic circulation - Circulation throughout the whole body via arteries, arterioles, capillaries, venules and veins to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the body tissues. Pulmonary circulation - Circulation of blood from the pulmonary artery through the vessels of the lung and back to the heart through the pulmonary vein, providing gas exchange. Coronary circulation - Circulation of blood through coronary blood vessels to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the heart muscle tissue. 3 Important medical terms in CVS B.
