Generate alarms The TMS analyzes the inputs and outputs and determines whether fault or failure conditions exist. Once the TMS recognizes failure, the failure is displayed on the display screen, and an audible warning alerts the driver. Remedial action Guidance for remedial action is displayed on the display guidance screen when failure occurs. Store history of faults The TMS records fault equipment status, including operational data such as speed, P/B command, etc., before 7 seconds and after 3 seconds. The memorized data is read out with a laptop computer through 10 base-T Ethernet. 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 32 Major Equipment Specific to Mc Cars – Battery Type Ni-Cd Battery Normal voltage 110 V (76 cell) Capacity 40 Ah Charging method Continuous floating charging method 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 33 Major Equipment Specific to Mc Cars Section A Section B 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 34 Major Equipment Specific to M1 and M2 Cars Train monitoring system-secondary unit Air supply equipment (air compressor, etc) Air compressor starting box Pantograph M2 Car Only: Extension power supply contactor 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 35 Major Equipment Specific to M1 and M2 Cars – Air Compressor Air compressor: 980 Kpa Discharge air pressure 1000 l/min Nominal discharge capacity Single-stage twin rotor with oil Type injection for cooling Motor 3-phase, 380 Vac, 50 Hz, squirrel-cage induction Starting equipment CMSB 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 36 Major Equipment Specific to M1 and M2 Cars – Pantograph Type Single-arm type Contact force 70 ± 10 N Collector strip Copper-impregnated carbon strips Voltage 1500 V Rated current 1500 A Maximum speed (under good 100 km/h catenary conditions) 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 37 Major Equipment Specific to M1 and M2 Cars – Arrangement 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 38 Roof Arrangement – Mc Car Section B Section A 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 39 Roof Arrangement – M2 Car Section A Section B 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 40 Roof Arrangement for Each Car Type 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 41 Underfloor Arrangement – Mc1 Car 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 42 Underfloor Arrangement – Mc2 Car 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 43 Underfloor Arrangement – M1 Car 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 44 Underfloor Arrangement – M2 Car 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 45 The Train 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 46 END 8/29/24 Level 1 Session 1 47
