Text and its Components

Sentence Connection in Texts

Chain-linked sentences are connected through a direct relationship; each subsequent sentence is linked to the prior one.
Parallel sentences: each subsequent sentence is linked to the first sentence.

Text Formats

Complex Sentences

Complex sentences are composed of two or more sentences.
Each sentence in a complex sentence is related in a meaningful way.
Complex sentences can be divided into sections, which are usually defined by a specific purpose or function.
