    Qatar Airways Safety E Report System

    • All incidents must be reported through the Rolls Royce SMS Solution (RRSS) within 12 hours of the event.
    • Report types include: Confidential, Environmental/Animal, Dangerous Goods, Ground Damage, Ground Safety Report, Hazard, Fire, Injury on Duty, Customer Incident, Security Incident, Voluntary Hazard Ereport.
    • A customer in transit exceeding 24 hours requires an Incident Occurrence Reporting (IOR) to be raised, informing QR Security and Travel and Distribution- Duty Manager.
    • In cases involving unruly, intoxicated passengers or smoking on board, a Preliminary Report is prepared by the Duty Manager on shift and forwarded to the HCC Duty Officer. The HCC Duty Officer then raises an RRSS report before the end of their shift.
    • If a prohibited Dangerous Goods item is refused acceptance during check-in, the Check-in Duty Officer raises an RRSS report under Ground Safety Ereport.
    • Permission to review CCTV is requested from the QR Security team through QRISP, with a follow-up email to qrsecuritysystems and qrsecdutymgr.
    • In the event of RRSS system failure, the HCC Duty Officer on shift emails the next shift and the ground safety team.
