Duties of the Publisher

Duties of the Editors

• Editors ensure fair peer review and maintain confidentiality of submitted material.
• Meet the needs of readers and authors.
• Constantly improve the journal.
• Implement processes to assure the quality of published material.
• Champion freedom of expression.
• Maintain the integrity of the academic record.
• Avoid business needs compromising intellectual and ethical standards.
• Always publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions.
• Actively seek the views of authors, readers, reviewers, and editorial processes.
• Encourage awareness of research into peer review and publish findings.
• Persuade the publisher to provide appropriate resources.
• Support initiatives to reduce research and publication misconduct.
• Support initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics.

Duties of the Reviewers

Duties of the Authors

• Conduct ethical and responsible research.
• Present results clearly, honestly, and without fabrication/falsification.
• Describe methods clearly and unambiguously.
• Submitted work must adhere to publication requirements and be original.
• Take collective responsibility for submitted and published work.
• Ensure authorship accurately reflects individual contributions.

Publication Misconduct

• All submissions are checked by CrossCheck to prevent scholarly misconduct.
• Closely follow COPE flowcharts for fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and plagiarism.
