- Dispose of tissues and applicators in garbage, place wash cloth in laundry, remove and dispose of gloves, then wash hands to maintain cleanliness as per standard precautions.
- Return cream or ointment to storage area to ensure the safe storage of cream/ointment.
- Sign flow sheet and report/record all reportable observations to maintain accurate records.
