Degrees Offered

  • Bachelor's Degree: Awarded in specialized educational sciences (teaching technology, computer teacher, fine arts, music, home economics, educational media, educational informatics, and a special program in English). The program takes four years or eight levels to obtain the bachelor's degree and follows the credit-hour system.
  • Postgraduate Degrees:
    • Diploma in specialized education in all college specializations.
    • Master's degree in specialized education in all college specializations
    • Doctoral degree in specialized education in all college specializations.

Admission Requirements

  • General Requirements: Port Said University follows the admission system of Egyptian public universities. Foreign students are accepted from all countries after approval from the General Directorate of Foreigners and the concerned authorities in the sending country, as per the Higher Education Council's decision. The number of accepted students in each department is determined annually based on the college's capabilities. Students (male/female) holding a general secondary school certificate - or any equivalent certificate from an Arab or foreign country - are eligible, provided the certificate is equivalent to Egyptian general secondary school certificates, diplomas, or technical institutes as per Higher Education Council's decisions. Students holding a higher qualification (Bachelor's/License) are also eligible from any discipline without any restrictions on the year of qualification. Candidates also need to pass the relevant aptitude tests for each department as determined by the college's council. The student isn't enrolled in any course until the tuition fees are paid within the stipulated deadlines. Students who don't finalize their registration before the second week of the autumn/spring terms, or the first week of the summer term, are not eligible to attend classes. In addition to the general requirements specified in the executive regulations of the law organizing universities, specific requirements for specialized courses might exist (testing for Fine Arts or Music programs, etc).

    • Candidates for Music need to pass specific aptitude tests.
    • All prospective students must pass an aptitude test for teaching positions.

College Departments
