ODC Movement on Electrified Sections
- Overhead electrical equipment always remains ‘LIVE’ unless a power block is obtained from the Traction Power Controller.
- All lines not included in a power block are live at 25000 Volts.
- No person should climb on top of carriages or wagons when beneath overhead equipment unless the equipment is deactivated and grounded.
- Prescribed clearance from contact wires for over dimensional loads on electrified sections:

ODC Despatch
- Final approval from competent authority is required for dispatch.
- The train clerk/SM enters the number of wagons carrying ODC in the vehicle guidance in red ink for the Guard.
