Non-Resident Auctioneer Licensing

Reciprocity: A non-resident with a valid auctioneer license from another state can obtain a reciprocal license in North Carolina if:
- The other state has acceptable training or experience standards that are not less stringent than North Carolina's.
- The other state extends reciprocal privileges to auctioneers licensed in North Carolina.
Application: Applicants must submit an application, supporting documentation, and proof of eligibility. They are exempt from the North Carolina licensing exam but must pay the required fee and file a consent for service of process.
License:
- The license is marked to indicate that the holder is a non-resident.
