NU Hymn

• A pledge of life, honor, and loyalty to Alma Mater
• Acknowledging gratitude for wisdom and strength
• Commitment to defending the institution's good name
• Aspiration for continued recognition and fame
• Wave the school's colors (Gold and Blue) with pride

NU Logo

• Evolved with a curved octagonal border featuring the name "National University" and the establishment year (1900)
• Later versions incorporated the words "legally incorporated and duly accredited"
• Recent versions adapted a shield-like shape resembling the national coat of arms with royal blue silhouette; the year 1900 remained and NU lettering was added
• Earlier logos included a woman representing the Philippines and the date of the establishment of the school, 1900
• Different iterations of the logo featuring a woman, symbolic of the nation, and the year of establishment during the initial period of 1900 to 2008, with varied color schemes and images

Bulldog Pride

• The Bulldog mascot represents tenacity, courage, resilience, loyalty, and strong determination
• The mascot's appearance and behavior symbolize important traits
• The mascot was adopted as a representation of the school's spirit, endurance, and determination

Bulldog Character

• Represents Courage and loyalty, willingness to face opponents larger than itself
• Illustrates toughness and tenacity in challenging environments
• Originally bred for the bloody sport of bullbaiting during the Roman Empire
• Despite an initial image as a fighter, the NU bulldog has become an embodiment of resilience, calm, dignified, and friendliness
