Neglect
- Inability to provide necessary goods or services, leading to potential harm or mental distress.
Negligence
- Unintentional failure to act responsibly, resulting in harm to individuals or their property.
Abuse
- Intentional harm or harsh treatment resulting in physical or mental distress; involves depriving individuals of necessary care.
Medicare
- Federal health insurance for individuals aged 65 and over and younger people with specific disabilities.
Medicaid
- Health care payment program funded by the federal government and administered by states for eligible low-income individuals.
Hospice
- Specialized care program designed for individuals nearing the end of life.
CNA Roles
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
