Working Hour Systems in Malaysia

Normal Working Hours:
- Previously, maximum 48 hours per week (approximately 8 hours per day)
- Effective January 1, 2023, the maximum working hours was reduced to 45 hours per week (meal times excluded)
- Employees cannot work more than 5 consecutive hours without a 30-minute break, or more than 8 hours in a single day. Employees are entitled to a rest day weekly.
