Philippine Population Management Program

  • Republic Act No. 6365 (August 16, 1971) established the National Population Program and created the Commission on Population.
  • Presidential Decree No. 79 (December 8, 1972) revised the Population Act of the Philippines, placing POPCOM under the Office of the President and redefining its purposes, objectives, and functions.

Reorganization and Transfers
