Course Introduction
- The course is about how people move and learn movement skills
- Mechanics of motion, anatomy and physiology are examined
- Students need to understand how the muscular and nervous systems operate
- Practical examples in class and review are part of the course approach
What is a Kinesiologist?
- The presentation displays a word cloud showing the diverse scope of responsibilities for Kinesiologists, including health promotion, physical activity, and exercise, and the importance of movement for well-being and rehabilitation
Teaching Approach
- The course includes practical examples to solve problems in motor skill performance and learning
