Gastric Cancer
- The first successful antral resection of the stomach was performed by Polish surgeon Ludwik Rydygier in 1881
- Partial gastrectomy should be considered in intestinal type and tumour G1, or tumour up to 2 cm in maximum diameter and prepyloric location
- Global occurrence of gastric cancer is decreasing
