- Nonresidents, except migrant or seasonal farm workers, must obtain a Florida driver license within 30 days of:
- Accepting employment in Florida
- Engaging in a trade, profession, or occupation in Florida
- Enrolling their children in Florida's public schools
- The spouse or dependent child of a nonresident must also obtain a Florida driver license within 30 days before operating a motor vehicle in Florida
