- All Spring Fire Department personnel must be aware of and comply with the procedures outlined in this document.
- Personnel are required to assist the public to the best of their ability, using reasonable precautions for safety.
- Complaints from the public should be addressed professionally and forwarded to the immediate supervisor.
- Personnel should seek guidance and direction from their supervisor if they are unsure about an assignment or course of action.
- Ongoing training is crucial, and personnel are responsible for mastering the skills necessary for their duties.
- CPR certification is a requirement for all personnel.
- Volunteer personnel are required to maintain a firefighter certification through the State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's Association, and encouraged to pursue advanced certifications.
- Employed firefighters must hold a Basic Structural Firefighter certification or higher from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) and an Emergency Medical Technician or higher from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
