What is HCO3?

The bicarbonate ion that measures metabolic (renal) component of acid-base equilibrium. Regulated by the kidney and measured by a bicarbonate valve indirectly by CO2 content.

What is PO2?

What is creatine phosphokinase (CPK)?

Enzymes expected by various tissues & cell types. FUnction is to catalyze conversion of creatine and consume ATP to PCr and APD. Mainly in the brain, skeletal muscle, and photoreceptor of the retina. Can be used to diagnose myocardial infarction and rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown).
Signup and view all the answers
