Centrifugal Flow Compressor

- Disadvantages: Larger frontal area for given flow rate, more than 2 stages are less practical due to energy losses between stages.

- Double Entry Impeller: A disadvantage needing careful design to direct air to the rear impeller, air input may not be uniform from both inlet ducts due to aerodynamic flow.
