- Cloud computing is a type of computing that delivers on-demand, convenient, pay-as-you-go access to shared IT resources over the internet.
- Four types of cloud computing: public, private, hybrid, and vertical.
- Types of services on the cloud: Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS), and Software as a service (SaaS).
- Examples of cloud services: Salesforce, Gmail, Dropbox.
- Cloud characteristics: on-demand, convenience, scalability (depending on need/season).
Wireless Technologies
- Wireless technologies include mobile computing, mobile commerce, the Internet of Things (IoT).
