- Public belief: A person able to publicly and privately own a certain belief.
- Social influence to be like others: A change in behavior, belief, or thinking to be like others.
- Change in beliefs to align with the group: An individual whole-heartedly changes their beliefs, actions, and attitudes to align with the group
- Minority influencing a majority: Happen when a larger number of people are influenced by a smaller number
- Rejection of social influence: A willing rejection of influence on an individual or group
- Following instructions without reflection: Following instructions without necessarily agreeing with the values involved

Types:
- Strong Leadership: Often typecast as someone who is the head of a group of people, potentially by great strength or wisdom.

- Behavioral-based leadership: This theory defines leadership based on specific behaviors.

- Transaction/Negotiation-based leadership: Leadership involves transaction or negotiation of resources or position, usually with reward and punishment
- Visionary leadership: Leadership involves a vision, which a leaders uses to motivate followers.
- Situational/flexible leadership: leadership is flexible, a leader is able to assess a situation quickly, adjust to it, and thus provide appropriate actions
