Alarm Activations

Bernalillo County Fire and Rescue (BCFR) responds to smoke, fire, and sprinkler alarms.
If an incident is verified as a false alarm by an alarm monitoring entity, BCFR may accept cancellation.
BCFR does not accept cancellations from private citizens.
Suppression units will respond code 1 to verify false alarms.
On arrival, suppression units will assess the occupancy and make contact with a responsible party to identify the problem and confirm a false alarm.
