- Management and supervisory personnel will attempt to service and resolve complaints at the lowest appropriate level.
- If the facts, nature of the complaint or offense warrants a formal investigation to be conducted, Officers of the rank of Fire Officer and above will refer the incident with recommendations in writing to a Chief Officer.
- Supervisors may charge subordinates with violations of the rules, regulations, orders, and instructions, or for conduct that is prejudicial to good order, efficiency, or discipline.
