What is 21st Century Skills?

• A broad set of knowledge, skills, work habits, and character traits crucial for coping with today's world and future workplaces.
• Applicable across all academic subjects and throughout a student's life.

Category 1: Learning Skills

• Focuses on teaching mental processes for adapting to and improving modern work environments.
• Also covers the "Four C's":
  • Critical thinking (Analyzing and evaluating evidence, arguments, and solving problems)
  • Creativity (Using idea creation techniques to generate new ideas)
  • Collaboration (Working effectively and respectfully in diverse teams)
  • Communication (Articulating thoughts and ideas orally and in writing).

Category 1: Learning Skills - Sub skills
