**What is Intelligence?** In Psychology, intelligence is extremely complicated when defined considering the theories that are founded on this concept. Intelligence has been defined in many ways: the capacity for abstraction, logic, understanding, self-awareness, leaming, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. **The four main types of intelligence** **Physical Intelligence (PQ)** Is ultimately concerned with understanding our body, creating a positive relationship between our mind and body, actively working with our physiology to create better conditions for our body to thrive and ensuring we take steps to minimize harm to our body. **Emotional Intelligence (EQ)** Refers to one's ability to manage their emotions. This includes the ability to understand and self-manage their own feelings in positive ways to communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, manage conflict and relieve stress. **Intellectual intelligence (IQ)** Is the ability needed to perform various mental activities. The higher a person\'s IQ, the higher his ability to deal with problems related to spatial, numerical, and linguistic abilities. The measurement of intellectual intelligence is called intelligence quotient (IQ). **Spiritual Intelligence (SQ)** Is defined as the ability to perceive, understand, and utilize spiritual information and experiences. It's about connecting with something greater than oneself, and tapping into a higher consciousness. Those with a high SQ are often more compassionate, empathetic, and have a greater sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. **Other types of intelligence** **Adversity Quotient (AQ):** Refers to an individual\'s resilience and capacity to handle setbacks, challenges, and adversities effectively. It measures one\'s ability to persevere and bounce back from difficult situations, demonstrating adaptability, tenacity, and emotional intelligence. **Social Quotient (SQ)** Is a measure of an individual's social intelligence, including their ability to build and maintain relationships with others. People with high SQ are often seen as outgoing, friendly, and good team players. **Linguistic intelligence** Refers to the ability to "understand and use spoken and written language." Individuals who possess strong linguistic intelligence -- such as writers, poets, speakers, and lawyers -- can express themselves well in both written and verbal communication. **Logical-mathematical intelligence** Refers to our ability to think logically, reason, and identify connections. People with mathematical intelligence, such as Albert Einstein, are good at working with numbers, complex and abstract ideas, and scientific investigations. **Interpersonal intelligence** The ability to understand and interact effectively with others. It involves effective verbal and nonverbal communication, the ability to note distinctions among others, sensitivity to the moods and temperaments of others, and the ability to entertain multiple perspectives **Spatial intelligence** The ability to process information in three dimensions, as well as the capacity to deal with aspects such as color, line, shape, space, and the relationships between them. It can also be defined as the ability to perceive reality, create mental representations, appreciate sizes and directions, among other factors. ***"Intelligence is not the ability to store information, but to know where to find it."*** ***― Albert Einstein***
