Business Scenario Selection: o Each individual will choose a fictional or real small to medium-sized company (e.g., a retail store, a restaurant, or a startup tech firm). o Provide a brief overview of the company, including its size, product/service, and market. 2. Assignment Tasks: o Organizing:  Define how the company should structure its workforce and resources.  Create an organizational chart that outlines the hierarchy, key departments (e.g., sales, marketing, HR), and roles.  Discuss the rationale behind the structure (e.g., why a certain department reports to a particular manager, how the division of labor is designed for efficiency).  Explain how the structure will facilitate communication, decision- making, and workflow within the company. o Controlling:  Identify key performance metrics that the company would need to monitor in order to achieve its objectives (e.g., sales growth, customer satisfaction, production quality).  Propose a simple control system that outlines how the company will track these metrics, including feedback loops (e.g., weekly reports, performance appraisals, quality control systems). 3.
