TEACHER INSTRUCTION PAGE (delete this slide) 3-2-1 Learning Reflection Student Activity: In this activity, students will reflect on their learning by identifying three new things they learned, two connections to prior knowledge, and one area they want to explore further. The activity includes a reflection template and is designed to follow a series of tasks including reading, note-taking, multiple-choice questions, and discussion. How to share with students: These pages are sized for printing or can be assigned digitally using an LMS (like Google Classroom), where students can work on their own slide decks via “Make a Copy for Each Student.” Each slide is set up with text boxes for students to type in. Please Note: Because Diffit resources can vary in length, be sure to check the formatting on each slide. Suggested Lesson Flow: 1. Complete a Notice and Wonder activity for the image. 2. Read and take notes. 3. For each term write a sentence and find or draw an image to represent it. 4. Students will reflect on their learning by identifying three new things they learned, two connections to prior knowledge, and one area they want to explore further. 5. Students answer each multiple choice question and explain why they picked their answer. 6. Students respond to short answer questions. 7. If you're interested in history, Buckingham Palace is a must-see. It's the official residence of the Queen and is a grand building with 775 rooms. You can visit the palace's stunning staterooms when the Queen is not in residence. Another historical landmark is St. Paul's Cathedral, a baroque-style cathedral that was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London in 1666. It's known for its ornate golden interior, magnificent gallery, and stunning views of the city. For art lovers, Tate Modern is a great option. It's located right outside Bankside, which is the largest LSE accommodation. The gallery offers free entry and features a wide range of art pieces that are constantly updated. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of London and get lost in artistic expression. If you're interested in museums, the Natural History Museum is a must-visit. It's free to enter and features a regular rotation of themes, from the Greek period to the Jurassic era. It's a great place for historians and cultural enthusiasts. London is also home to many world-renowned sports teams and stadiums. If you're a sports fan, you can catch a game at Twickenham, the London Stadium, Lords, The Emirates, Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Stamford Bridge, or any of the many other stadiums in the city. Tickets can be expensive, but it's a surreal and unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a shopping spree, Harrods is the perfect place to go. It's an eight-floor department store with thousands of brands and restaurants dedicated to chocolates, cheeses, pastas, coffees, and more. You're sure to leave with something. For a unique experience, take a tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and the Roman Baths with Evan Evans. You'll be accompanied by a tour guide who will teach you about the history of these places. If you're a Harry Potter fan, the Warner Bros. studio tour is a must-see. You'll get to see props, animatronics, and costumes used in the films, such as the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, and more.
