By knowing the different colors, you will also understand your personality. There are many colors, but even though they are mixed, individuals would often have one dominant color that they like the most. Choose your favorite color among the four (4) basic powerful colors below: What is your favorite color? Do you want to know the meaning of your favorite color? Then, read this! Dominant Red – If you have picked this color, it means that you have a dominant personality. You always have a drive to succeed. You are a strong leader. Planner Blue – If you love blue, it means that you are productive and persistent. You make sure that all things are in its right places. Charismatic Yellow – If you chose this color, it means that you have great verbal skills and you love social events. You are cheerful and optimistic. Stable Green – If you like this color, it means that you are calm and relaxed. When you speak, people listen to you. So why should we study Art Appreciation? ART IS SOMETHING THAT IS PERENIALLY AROUND US in a way that continues for a long or apparently infinite time; permanently. That is why we need to constantly appreciate the beaty of art around us. Because by nature, human beings are drawn toward what is good and ultimately, BEAUTIFUL. With this, it is important to learn the history of art Art has evolved through time. Within its periods and movements, you would see its development and improvement. Truly, you would appreciate art. Let us start with the PALEOLITHICAL – GOTHIC ART. Of course, one of the oldest civilizations in the world, Egypt, would have its share of intricate and unique art. At this period, the Greeks also contributed to the art we make use of up to this time especially with architecture. 6 Course Material: Art Appreciation Both, Byzantine and Gothic arts were part of the PALEOLITHICAL – GOTHIC ART period. Coming the 15th century to 16th century, emerged the RENNAISANCE – MANNERISM period. It reveals the cultural values in its symbolism and conveys the attitudes of the ancient civilization in its many forms. Aside from the Mayan Art, the Inca Art surfaced as well during this period. Art was an important part of Aztec life.
